<< It was never about the chicken. >>

That’s for damn sure. Average (at best) chix sammich. Now there’s NO reason to go there. Worst business decision they could’ve possibly made. Go woke, go broke.

Actually it is. GREAT taste. Ever since I had it 40 years ago. And it’s all because of peanut oil (why never complaints given the obsession with peanut allergies?).

People love their taste and service so much they couldn’t resist despite liberal ness. And I live in commie central. It is ALWAYS crowded despite all the commies that control this area.

33 years ago I was working at Sears in a mall and Chick-fil-a was in the food court. Best damned food I’d ever had at that point, with the bonus of Henry Beazeley’s onion rings across the way.

I moved away and finally went out of my way to visit their restaurant (they opened up outside of the mall) a year ago for reasons others have outlined here, plus my memory of the food.

I was sorely disappointed. Clearly people are going there for reasons other than the food or people have significantly lowered their expectations.

Still have yet to sample the Popeye’s chicken sandwich (none near me, much like the 100 mile drive to sample In&Out which I have no intention of undertaking).

“Average (at best) chix sammich. “

I had my first CFA sandwich 3 years ago. When I first bit into it, I thought music would start playing and my body would go orgasmic. Well it didn’t. I remember thinking to myself, Is this it? What a let down.

I continued to go to CFA when we travelled just to support them.

“Worst business decision they could’ve possibly made.”

It certainly is that. It’s also a complete disgrace. The Salvation Army is beyond reproach in every way.
