SAN ANTONIO UPDATE at 9:30 a.m.: The lockdown was lifted at JBSA-Camp Bullis at about 9:30 a.m.
A tweet stated a suspect was taken into custody at about 9:15 a.m. following a report of criminal activity. No other information was provided.
No injuries were reported.

When did these politically correct pussy terms “lock down” and “shelter in place” come into common usage?
I spent a little while there during the winter of 1984-1985. We got 13” of snow which, having come from upstate New York, I didn’t think all that much about. It turned out that was rather unusual for San Antonio.
Update - “Col. Carter said at no time were any shots fired and this was not an active shooter situation, just criminal activity - a verbal altercation where a weapon was allegedly drawn.
The alleged suspect was said to be a civilian employee who was authorized to be on the base.”
