Gordon Sondland, U.S. ambassador to the European Union, delivered an apparently mixed message Wednesday to lawmakers about what President Donald Trump wanted from Ukraine.

When did Sondland lie? This morning or this afternoon?
This is their “John Dean” moment witness.

The EVIDENCE that he had (a phone call with Trump) said that Trump wanted NOTHING from Ukraine. His OPINION was the exact opposite.
So this is what they call lying to Congress. Don’t look for Greg Sondland to get the Roger Stone treatment any time soon.
For some lies are more equal than others - when they’re in the Deep State’s interests.

Sondland answered with his opinion in the morning and then he answered correctly about the facts in the afternoon.
Instead of lying I think he was purposely being misleading in the morning.

He seemed more fatuous to me, as the day went on.
But toward the end, I felt that he was beginning to really resent being used.

Sondland showed all the signs of being a witness who was coached by his Democrat lawyers assigned to him for the hearing, they wrote his opening statement which obfuscated the truth.
Sondland blew it, and his Democrat handlers must be fusrious.
Remember, Sondland has been accosted at his home and business by leftist Democrat demonstrators which actually was not mentioned in the hearing? Sondland shows all the marks of undue influence in regard to the personal attacks on him at home, attacks also on his family. These Democrat ba$tards act just like the Comintern of the former USSR.
America should be outraged by the Democrat debauchery of Sondland and his family.
And Sondland said no one....no one told him "quid, pro quo"....he presumed it.
Doofus.
And Sondland said that he and the President were NOT friends....they were acquaintances at best.
In his opening statement, Sondland said he became certain there was a quid pro quo in which Zelenskyy would get a White House meeting with Trump by announcing formal investigations by Ukrainian law enforcement of Burisma—an energy company where former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a board member—and of meddling by Ukraine in the 2016 presidential election in the U.S.
When asked by the chair about the Quid Pro Quo he denied it was tied to the military assistance. And he testified that Trump told him he wanted NOTHING.
During his testimony he also said he was denied or unable to get to his emails or any records that could have refreshed his memory of events, however in the testimony in the evening (after Sondland left) the Republicans read into the record an email sent out by the State Department during the break that said Sondland has always had access to his emails and any records.
I was not impressed by his testimony and thought he was trying to cover his own butt, the Republicans were correct in their cross that Sondland contradicted himself and talked in circles.
Is Sondland still getting paid with taxpayer dollars to steal oxygen?!?
But they won't, because Trump is bad.
Merely a lesson for anyone toying with the idea of challenging “Progressive” ideology
Who in their right mind would?

Basically he assumed everything except that the President told him he wanted nothing from Ukraine.
Maybe it was a setup to make lefties overreact. It worked.
