Think of the trouble our country is in. The FBI and CIA are not trustworthy. At any time someone may be using our IRS,medical,police or other records to set us up for blackmail. Or set up anyone in the House or Senate. They can barge into anyone’s home at 3 am. They can use military style weapons against anyone. There is no higher authority to curtail them.
No one is culling out the new Brennan,Comey or McCabe guys in the system already.
German military officers used to fear the SS as much as the populace feared it. Is that what we have beneath the surface in our intelligence community today?
Unscrupulous politicians can easily see that if they have the cover of the media that is followed by 51% of the population, they can use the resources of state to persecute and spy on the opposition and imprison their opponent's staff, without fear of legal or electoral recourse.
