They need to subpoena Vindman’s phone and email records as he is the leaker to the fake whistleblower per his own testimony. I'm not holding out much hope for the FBI actually going after a leaker in the Trump WH, but it's pretty obvious that Vindman illegally leaked classified information, almost certainly at his point, to Ciaramella.

I retired from the FBI, months after Eric Holder was appointed AG; because I knew the Bureau was headed south; but I really, really had hopes that Trump would correct matters. I know the power the DoJ holds, and it’s no joke that we’re in trouble when the FBI cannot be trusted.
