If true, very disappointing. We shouldn’t be helicopter-dumping dollars on foreign countries with no strings, and no assurance the money is spent honestly. If Trump didn’t demand corruption investigations as a condition of receiving US money, Trump was failing the Us taxpayers
To all these Republicans who stress that the arms went through without any investigations, I ask: “Why is that a good thing? You don’t care if our money is corruptly wasted?”

It’s the reason I rarely react to anything anymore. Too many “hot takes” from dumb people that repeat the same nonsense, and think they just gave some deep insight.

That’s exactly what Schiff-head IS doing. In fact, that’s what he automatically assumed Trump was doing in his self-projecting parody. Because that’s how he rolls.
Seems like just more “evidence” that was off the record and/or completely controversial as to what happened and what was said.

THIS IS THE WORST CASE SCENARIO FOR TRUMP.
The accusation is this — Trump used the condition that Ukraine investigate Joe Biden’s influence peddling by using the withholding of US foreign aid as leverage.
Let’s say, worst case, that this accusation can be proven. Why is this impeachable?
1) It is a known fact that Joe Biden threatened to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine if they did not fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma’s corruption.
2)It is a known fact that Joe Biden’s son sits on the board of Burisma and was receiving over $80,000 a month for a position he was not qualified for ( confirmed by Lt. Col. Vindeman himself ).
3) It is a known fact that Joe Biden OPENLY BOASTED (we have the video) that he had the prosecutor fired USING US foreign aid as leverage.
4) It is a known fact that the foreign aid was given AFTER the prosecutor was fired.
WHY SHOULD TRUMP, WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE CONCERNED WITH UKRAINE’s CORRUPTION AS THE CHIEF ENFORCER OF OUR LAWS NOT WANT TO HAVE THIS INVESTIGATED?
Unlike Mueller’s probe, this isn’t even a fishing expedition. The evidence is already there ( heck I haven’t even mentioned China yet ).
So, even if Trump used this as a quid pro quo to withhold foreign aid ( which he did not ), he is well within his authority to do so.
The fact that an investigation would benefit him since Biden is a political opponent is incidental. The more important point is THERE IS EVIDENCE OF CORRUPTION and it must be investigated.
There is nothing impeachable here. If any, Joe Biden should be disqualified from running until this whole thing is cleared up.
So why is Pence rushing to deny?
I have a feeling that Pence nods with some frequency to just acknowledge that something was said, and should in NO WAY be interpreted as him formally responding to anything.
Pence is not going to be happy about this, IMHO.

No. Trump will be impeached. We’ve known that for months. But Trump is hardly finished. The Senate will not remove him.

Sondland’s opening statement was the headline. The rest of the story was his testimony. The headline did not match the story.
As was asked of Richard Clark during the 9/11 hearings: “Are you lying now or did you lie then?”

You are 100% incorrect. Sorry. There is nothing there, and most people know it. The media hypes it, idiots on social media repeat it, but they don’t vote. The only way Trump loses 2020 is voter fraud, which is far more likely than Trump resigning of being impeached.
