Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, will testify before the House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, Nov. 20, as part of the impeachment probe into President Donald Trump.

... The Durham investigation also has become politically important to the White House’s defense of its actions in the Ukraine affair.
Acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney and other allies of Trump have said it was wholly appropriate for Trump to ask Ukraine’s president and other heads of state for help with U.S. investigations that could uncover wrongdoing.
Mulvaney cited Durham’s ongoing work and the need to answer what Mulvaney called lingering questions as one explanation for why Trump had asked the Ukrainians for investigations.
Trump or Barr also have asked the Italian, British and Australian governments to cooperate.

I agree with you. He isn’t doing himself any favors. I totally understand why Trump didn’t trust any of these weasels to ascertain whether Ukraine should get the aid.
No-one pays any attention to the timeline of the formation of the new government.
Why should the military aid be sent until the new government and the changes to the constutution were formed, in place, and completed?
Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg says of the July 25 conversation: “I heard nothing wrong or improper on the call. I had and have no concerns.”
Need to call this guy.
Let’s see if they still think that way after Sondland’s credibility is decimated.
Sondland is the BEST witness for President Trump yet. He shows that the President has a brain and is focused on Ukrainian corruption that effects the United States.
ALL THIS guy is saying is that “HE” did not like the DIRECTION of the inquiry or the method!!

I can’t watch at work, but I have a friend in DC who is right there, and he says, Sondland is on the home team, and basically saying Trump wanted something done about corruption, and guarantees.
They can twist this anyway they want. Ukrain got their money.
Sondland, in short, is for the home team.
BUT, you’ll be able to tell in the way he responds to the GOP side.

I very offended at the insult to my intelligence
I don't take offense easily and I have a few uncharitable friends who might opine that I don't have that much intelligence to insult in the first place so this pretty egregious abuse of power by Schiff
Its about criminalization of policy differences. Disagreement isn’t a hanging offense.
Its all about how it make HIM feel.... a nobody who bought an ambastardor position with campaign contribution. A hotel guy.
The good news is “quid pro quo” didn’t focus test well.
