Rep. Adam Schiff’s, D-Calif., impeachment carnival enters a new week with a gaggle of hearsay witnesses offering endless speculation and opinion about an imaginary “quid pro quo” of non-corruption corruption.
Like the title of Herman Wouk’s 1965 comedic farce, “Don’t Stop the Carnival,” President Trump may hope that the impeachment idiocy continues in perpetuity. Or at least until we are well into the presidential election season next year. It will all but guarantee his continued residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Schiff, who serves as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and Grand Poobah of the impeachment circus, is strikingly reminiscent of Wouk’s fictional main character, Norman Paperman. His hapless antics are the stuff of slapstick and buffoonery. If it can go wrong, it will. No one seems to take poor Norman seriously. Except Norman.

The Democrats have invoked a “Nuclear Option” that resembles Harry Reid’s in the Senate. When the Republicans retake the house they should have no compunction about rigging House rules in their favor. The Democrats have abolished any need for fairness or equity in the establishment of the House rules.
At minimum, Democrats are setting precedents for future Houses and they should be followed rigorously. After all, it is only fair.
Remember that Democrats are hypocrites plus they count on Republicans to be passive and capitulate in the name of civility even though the Democrats have lied and cheated.
We need fighters in the Republican party not wimps.

With Schiff in the lead it may not be a bad idea the change the name of the Intelligence Committee to something more befitting as there certainly doesn’t seem to be much intelligence behind it. Oh well, just a thought...

Funny I was just thinking about Keith’s demise this morning and reflected on how hard must be to go from such a high to relative obscurity.
Which is why President Trump is such a shock to the political system. Like Grant - he fights, must be the Celtic genes he inherited from his mother. Historically Republicans have been "Go along to get along" politicians abiding by 'The Marquess of Queensberry" rules whereas Democrats have been bare knuckle street fighters. It's time for a sea change in the Republican Party.

One sentence spamming paid trolls all over the place there. They must have just got paid.
While that was once the case, I'm not so sure it is a correct statement anymore. The lines are drawn and the divisions are deep, and fairness no longer is a word that deserves to be in the lexicon when it pertains to politics. One side, while mostly still adhering to that, the other side is committed to the ends justify the means, period.
The reason why Democrats and liberals are fighting so hard these days is because they have had it easy in the past. That includes the liberal news media.
Republicans would roll over whenever pressed too hard. I guess that that is how politics works, compromise, but come on Republicans! How about a little intestinal fortitude?
And then there is the liberal news media who have had a monopoly since the 60s. Only now, are there other sources of news and they don't like it. They are getting nasty and are massive hypocrites and everyone can see it.
Trump is exactly what we needed to shake up the system. A system that has become complacent and apathetic.
The media has a warped sense of fairness, and most Americans are just sheep who think the way the media tells them to.
Every move by the dems and Adam "Full of Schiff" only galvanizes his base and I, personally, send a contribution to his reelection fund. I think he should have well over $1 BILLION war chest to head into the campaign.
But only the media that supports the positions they already subscribe to. Opposing media opinions are dismissed as either lies or conspiracy theories.

I’m skeptical until I hear the sound of handcuffs clicking around the wrists of the likes of OBAMA, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Clinton, Rice, Jarrett, Powers, etc...you know their names. And I don’t share some of his ideas on gun control, but it is what it is and he’s WHO we’ve got!
If arrests & trials are NOT forthcoming, I’ll pull this video as we officially have a 2 tier justice system & the now UNTOUCHABLES may have folks like me arrested, jailed...and worse.
