Pretty much every poll related to President Trump and impeachment should be discounted because the national media is still only providing the public with half of the story.........A perfect example is an ABC survey that came out Monday, declaring that “an overwhelming 70% of Americans” say Trump’s “actions” with Ukraine were “wrong.”......Sorry, but you're not going to convince me that 70% of Americans can point to Ukraine on a map, let alone that they actually know anything about Trump’s “actions” toward it
Most people don’t know that Ukraine inserted itself in the 2016 election for the explicit purpose of hurting Trump’s campaign. That’s because the media now pretends it didn’t happen, even though the New York Times broke the story at the time.
Most people don’t know that Biden was concerned about his adult son’s involvement with a shady Ukrainian energy company, inexplicably drawing $50,000 per month for a job that didn't require any specialized knowledge on his part. That’s because the media now pretends that it doesn’t matter, despite Biden admitting that it didn’t sit well with him.
When the media start thoroughly explaining Trump’s “actions” concerning Ukraine, maybe then the polls about impeachment will carry some weight.

A better question would be, “Should the President grant foreign aid to countries if he has received evidence that they interfered in our elections?”
I like the comment about the map. A friend of mine says that most Americans can’t find America on a map of America....and it’s possibly true!
Why does the media insist on polls to determine whether impeachment is warranted?
Even if a poll shows 100% of American favor impeachment, it’s not how the legal system or the federal impeachment rules work. If polls were the way to decide on any matter of importance, then, we’d have chaotic or anarchist rules for governing.
These polls being presented by the left, are just ways to make themselves feel better about what they know is the wrong way of doing things. Impeachment that is totally politically motivated, is wrong and unfair and not what the founding fathers intended. But, the polls, even when fake and when one-sided, make them feel better.
well actually since I began looking up things several years back I didn’t know what i thought I knew. Stunningly when you know where countries are, a bit of history, this makes it much easier to understand the dynamics of freign policy and events, conflicts that arise.
I learned a lot about Ukraines history, which is geneerally always bad, the people and how their government operates long ago..... what they are today isn’t a lot different than their history of conflicts with their government.
Polls shmolls. Who cares? Even ABC notes only 14% of the public cares about impeachment that’s roughly 40 million people out or a population of 330 milllion. Basically about the size of TX.
Even fewer than that want the President impeached. There’s no huge public clamor for it. Its not a life or death matter for most Americans.
And Democrats have not shown us why it’s necessary to remove Trump from office.
I don’t do polls.....the media has shown us well these are unstable at best....and just another avenue of gaining revenue flow for those who put them out.
So 20 million people feel strongly that Trump has to go, That’s probably the core TDS nutsos who drive the Democrat impeachment circus.
80-85% of the American people either have no opinion or don’t care.
Democrats are not winning those folks over. Impeachment is DOA regardless of whether it actually comes up for a vote.
