There are a lot of Clinton hold overs too. Presidents may come and go, but the bureaucracy never dies. The federal government is too big to succeed. There is a disconnect by those who believe they are not bound to carry out the elected President’s policies. Since the demokraps inhabit most of these government positions, this is less of a problem when a demokrap occupies the White House. If they disagree with the POTUS, they should do the honorable thing and resign.
But to get a narcissist bureaucrat because he disagrees with the Presidents policy would never happen.
First place they will milk it for what its worth and secondly, if they walk away their retirement pension gold mine may be in jeopardy.
