The Democrats are trying to amend the Constitution by Fiat to say that the President, if Republican, cannot dismiss any employee. That idea was trotted out once before when Congress tried to impeach President Andrew Johnson.

What the president tweeted was a clear, concise and rational representation of Yovanovitch’s less than stellar career, coupled with an explanation to the LIV’s that may be listening to the usual MSM suspects that the president has every right to rid his administration of incompetent political hacks.

It would be nice if a few dozen other “Republicans” would back him up on that.
