I used to give to the SA every year and every time I walked past a bell ringer. My dad and uncles were all WWII vets and to the day they died, everyone of them refused to give a nickel to the red cross and couldn't do enough for "Sally Ann" because of how they treated the GIs during the war.
I just figured if the SA was good enough for them, it was good enough for me: and it was until the summer of 2017 when The Salvation Army joined the rest of the "show me the money" charities and stiffed POTUS by canceling their annual fund raisers at Mar-a-Lago in protest of Trump's Charlottesville position.

I give everything I give to the DAV now.
I give everything I give to the DAV now.....Did they ever get rid of the thieves they had five or six years ago? Or was that Wounded Warriors? Or Shriners Hospital? Or Clinton Foundation?
