Trump is absolutely right. I fly into India and China often with my job, they’re filthy. Delhi, Mumbai, Shanghai, Guangzhou are all incredibly polluted and neither country is doing anything to fix it. Imagine the worst Los Angeles smog from the 1970’s and multiply it times a hundred and you have these cities. That’s why it’s silly for the U.S. to continue hamstringing our economy in an effort to clean up the planet while China and India continue to pollute without a care in the world. The air in the U.S. is already clean and it’s crazy to require an extra $10,000 a vehicle for emissions controls that will make the car a minute amount cleaner when India and China will happily dump a trillion times that amount pollution into the air every second. We all live on the same planet.
China and India are the world’s biggest polluters and exempting them from the Paris accords makes the whole thing a joke. Trump was right to withdraw us from that farce.
