After Jackie Coakley's obscene lies were revealed, her full name leaked to the internet. However, the MSM refused to report the name. She remained "Jackie, the rape victim" instead of "Jackie Coakley, the loathsome false accuser." Once again, the left's agenda was served.
And they wonder why we hate the media.
We have the same problem in the MSM today: they report what they want to believe not what they have researched and learned about.
This story still haunts me. Mostly because I have a terrible feeling that a relative of mine is a liar, almost on the scope of Jackie Coakley. Thankfully, not quite as bad as Jackie but there are similarities between them. If lying goes unchecked, does it morph into Jackie’s kind?
It is also why ‘always believing women’ is the stupidest idea in the world.
This lie reveals the purpose of this article: deflection - make it look like “journalism” has learned its lesson. Which is another lie: fake Russian collusion, fake impeachment criteria, fake racism...
Ms. Erdely’s wiki page calls her a “former journalist” but notes that before she was discredited, she’d published several other hot-button, agenda-pushing stories, and all of them were fabrications.

I know RS is still publishing, but this story effectively finished it. It is for sale I believe and will probably go for a dollar just as Newsweek did.
