Fallout from impeachment will be felt far and wide Democratic primary voters will take a hit

The impeachment of Donald Trump will claim more casualties than Democrats could possibly be aware of. Indeed, by moving ahead with such a destructive political process, Democrats are calling in an airstrike on their own position.

Sure, they may get their guy — at least in the House — but they will also eviscerate their front-runner, Joe Biden, while blowing up any meaningful media coverage the rest of the Democratic field needs to sustain itself. Speaking of the Democratic field, most of the big dogs also happen to serve in the Senate, which means they’ll be stuck in Washington, D.C., throughout the trial portion of the impeachment process.

The entire impeachment saga will be politically destabilizing, and for what? The Republican Senate is likely to acquit the president and then it will be up to elected Democrats to explain to voters why they, the elected elite, deserved the privilege of throwing the president out of office more than the citizenry, who will be given the opportunity just a handful of months later at the polls.

If Congress’ self-serving attempt to dunk on Trump in impeachment in 2019 ultimately results in a Trump re-election in November of 2020, that will be a self-inflicted event and Americans will have little inclination to tolerate kvetching about the electoral college or Russian tampering.

The dems entered a no win (for their party) initiative. I imagine they will be shocked by their losses on election day and once again blame the voters.

Who knew? Hunter Biden is in the protected class; Dems say he cant be called to testify.

So, if Hunter is a no-show, I'm sure he wont mind if Republicans blow-up this handsome group photo 100 times
larger and display it during the hearings.........Hunter's dad being Pres Obama's point man in Ukraine, and such.

INCONVENIENT FACTOID: “Extortion” is used in the language of legal jurisprudence WRT interstate commerce.

The word has no legal connotation in foreign policy lingo.

We need to drive home these facts:
<><> Dems are putting the foreign policy of other countries ahead of the interests of the USA;
<><> they would protect a foreign govt over the US;
<><> they are punishing a US president with impeachment for a foreign country’s corruption.

(Hat tip Political Junkie Too)
Democrats are protecting the interests of foreign countries by using the word “extortion” to refer to foreign policy.

What does HDRC care about all that?
She must not be arrested and charged!
She is probably willing to let the DNC and its adherents be destroyed as a party before she’s sentenced to prison—or worse!

Trump hate is driving the Democratic herd into an unsustainable corner on the left. The herd will wither and die. America will move on.

Some are saying the 'impeachment' is a negative for Trump. the opposite is more to the truth of the matter. Trump uses the media to keep his name out front, for good or bad, and it takes away from any other coverage of any other candidate.

Example: Hillary talked about Hillary on the campaign trail, but Trump called for border control and the media flipped out with 24 hour coverage.

(The media hasn't caught on yet, and probably never will.)

The longer the sham goes on, and the more of a sham is exposed, the harder it will be for Dims to justify what they are doing to the voters ALL the House members will have to answer to in their home states.

A lot will be praised, but not by enough voters to get re-elected.

Impeachment kills the majority party control, even when it succeeds in Articles, they lose, big.

To further destabilize future elections, with the ultimate goal of rendering them irrelevant. It's a long-term process that started with FloriDUH 200.

“The Republican Senate is likely to acquit”

There is ZERO chance he would be thrown out.

That would be an earthquake even a Murkowski would run from.

The R’s are playing this as a Rope-A-Dope gig and they WANT this all to happen - right now they are getting TONS of cash and more will come in when the TV cameras are rolling on this farce and Barney Google Eyes AKA Liddle Shifty is a national laughingstock.

The Dems do this to convince Trump is an illegitimate president who not only got elected because of Russians but also is a criminal.

So the Dems in the field will feel good about committing massive voter fraud to make sure Trump does not win in 2020.

Every step of the way, I keep reading that the DEMs can’t possibly move forward with impeachment. But they have been, at a snail’s pace. On purpose. To think this isn’t going to the Senate for a trial is delusional. They want Trump tagged as having been officially impeached. To think there is ZERO chance the GOP in the Senate would convict is wishful thinking.

President Trump is holding his cards close to his vest because he knows he is holding the Trump card; The Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Treaty passed in 1998 when Biden was a Senator and signed into law by B.J. Clinton which requires the President to root out corruption before giving financial aid to Ukraine.

In other words, demonicRATS want to impeach President Trump for OBEYING the law.

I don’t know——I have lost my “faith” in the average citizen. These people [still] believe there was Russian collusion, they believe Kavanaugh raped “Ford”, they believe “smirking boy” is a racist, they believe we’re “Nazis” (Socialists)——I could go on and on. 24/7 BS lies spewed from schools, colleges, media, Hollywood, giant tech has brainwashed these idiots and I believe a small percentage in “bluer” states will wake up, but that’s it. The dumbing down is complete, but how much are they dumbed down will be determined in 2020.

Geez, hate to dump cold water here, but why then do the rats keep winning races?! They swept congressional seats, won the KY governorship and a few others that should have been easily won. Yep, they sure are being hurt by all these BULLCHIT hoaxes!!! Americans are easily fickle and gullible!! Sorry but that’s the state of our nation at this precise moment!

Never underestimate the stupidity of the Democrat voter.

Or their avarice. I personally know many who would gladly vote for someone or something they know is wrong in order to put a few more bucks in their pocket through a government pension, government contract, etc.

The same can probably be said of Clinton’s impeachment. Sure, he perjured himself, but the trial in the Senate was DOA, a complete waste of time.
