Woody Harrelson playing the part of Nimitz instead of Henry Fonda turns me off.
Had Harrelson’s brain been in Nimitz, we’d have lost that war three weeks after that battle.

Any mention of the Fonda family turns me off.
Dumbo Woody is Nimitz?!? Might as well have cast Pee Wee Herman. No, Pee Wee (in character) would have been a step up.
I haven’t watched any of those shows or movies mentioned except “Leave It To Beaver” and don’t have a silly blue tweety bird account.
I was suprised to see douche-bag Harrelson as Nimitz, but he did a good job. He's about the same age, and the white hairpiece they gave him made him look a bit like Nimitz. It was a restrained and dignified performance. One of the best bits of casting was Luke Evans as McCluskey. He came off like a hard-bitten guy in the 1940's. The reality is that Evans is a gay Welsh actor.
The paragraph in this piece about Midway is ludicrous. the author criticizes a movie about Midway because it's not an exact remake of the 1976 version which was littered with fictional characters. With all the PC crap out there, the author picks on a movie that is anything but PC.
