I think his big hurdle is the nomination. If he wins that, he has a strong chance of beating Trump. Moderates and Independents will flock to him. And winning the Dem nomination means he has a lock on the Democrat vote.

For Bloomberg, winning the GOP nomination during his mayoral runs was the easy part. The hard part was running in the general. Here, I think campaigning in the general will be the easy part. The hard part? Winning the Democratic nomination. There’s a reason he did not run as a Democrat in NYC’s mayoral races. There’s no way he could have gotten that nomination.
