Yes. Halal involves how foods are processed. And like with Kosher, some foods are simply prohibited. But there is one significant difference. An observant Jew would not consider killing you if you accidentally serve him non-Kosher food.
The next democrat president will say “If you like your KFC you can keep your KFC” as they expand their ‘universal health care for all’ policies

During the Halal slaughter, a Muslim recites a dedication, know as tasmiya or shahada, of the animal to Allah, an idol in my understanding. I asked my pastor about this but he said he didn't know enough about Halal, which is a big thing around here.

because it’s about domination, not common sense-
A muslim had bought Church’s Fried Chicken and made it halal. He’s since sold it. I don’t know if that chain is still halal.
