That is not even coherent, much less accurate.
You are simply lying about the state and the goals of libertarians. The vast majority of them are Trump supporters, even those who might have serious problems with some of his policies. You are simply lying, whether sincerely delusional or just angry and willing to lie. Not my problem to figure out. The statement is simply false.
No it’s not, It’s an absolute fact. A third support Trump, and the rest went full anarchist supporting leftist ideology in hopes it will blow up. This ain’t my first rodeo, left the Republican party and became a staunch Libertarian in 07. Still absolutely support almost every principle except the lack of tribe, lack of care for this country as a whole, and the care for only self.
where are you getting these numbers?
I still hang with them and have observed this personally. Been involved just about daily since 07. I lived through all the changes play by play to what it is now. My first Libertarian board was the Daily Paul right after Michael fired it up.
Almost all the spokesmen for libertarians, Walter Block, Hans Hoppe, Lew Rockwell, Rand Paul,his dad, Doug Casey, and MANY other are all qualified Trump Supporters. I have no idea what you are basing this claim on.
My observation is in fact diametrically opposed to this. Many were on the verge of supporting leftist doctrine in the hopes that the system would blow up and we would get a more liberty tolerant system. I would put myself there, in fact. Many people are like me, saying “well, maybe some modified version of a limited state may come out of this, if Trump is really committed to a free nation.”
I would not put it past him to call for an article V convention in the event of a showdown. I would support him if he did.
From getting to know Libertarians personally after debating for years on end is where I got it...
My contempt and absolute withering scorn is reserved for the kind of half witted decerebrates who can only bawl out about how advocates of liberty and a return to constitutional law are “libruls.”
The poor imbeciles would not know a constitutional form of government if it bit them in the anus. The dearies frankly don’t know the difference between personal choice and state directed policy and are too stupid to bother looking at the difference, assuming that if it is moral, it must be the job of the state to make a law about it and demand conformity.
If you sense a dripping condescension and contempt, you are on target.

And many did, but 2/3rds now hate Trump because he is not absolutely perfect and still goes with the flow a bit, he is not Ron Paul... So only a third still support Trump and the rest returned to the original plan to blow it up.
And it’s unfortunate, they want it overnight in the next election each election. It is lacking reality and logic, even Ron Paul would have been hampered and had his hands tied like Trump is and would have gotten very little done as they like. From what I see, they would have turned on him just because he bent even the slightest while in office.
If Trump wins again he just may have a chance to make some of the changes they would like to see, but these things don’t happen overnight in just one term as they think. But if a Democrat wins we are going to go full communist in just four years.
So what do they do? support the democrat ideology as a majority. They don’t truly believe in them, just hoping this will create a blow up and anarchy.
Their own absolute purism and absolute lack of willingness to compromise at all is their own worst enemy. What they want cannot be achieved in reality.
The anti-collectivist society they are dreaming for is impossible. It would require every individual to treat every other individual with respect and courtesy, and human nature absolutely dictates this will never happen.
Based on reality, the model is broken from the beginning...
But with that said, if you look above I do give credit where credit is due and defend the ideology that is indeed correct with Libertarianism. they are NOT Liberals when it comes to the Constitution. But many are indeed now supporting unconstitutional acts by supporting and cheering on the Democrats to defeat Trump. It’s a double standard...
I need to share this important thing though, If you are on this board, then we are on the same page and want the same things. So please do not get the Idea I am putting down all Libertarians because I’m not. Just those who have gone against the Constitution by supporting the Democrats and hating on Trump without giving him any credit at all for what he got done. I’m a “Conservatarian” myself. :)
But that pride in blowing that election for the Republicans was down right ignorant and childish. They obviously have no clue what they are doing with these actions. They obviously have no kids or Grandkids. If they do then they just helped advance communism onto their own next generations.
well... i get it that if you demand purity or nothing in politics you will get nothing every time. It is that way in most of life.
We can agree on that, even if we have different population groups we are pulling data from. That is my only explanation as to how our views are so different.
I have debated and agreed with thousands of Libertarians over the years. But know what? It used to be a good thing heading in the right direction. But when Ron was done it was done and started sliding downhill in the wrong direction. But I can tell you this, if they purposely help screw Trump out of this next election, I will indeed have a deep rooted hatred for them for the rest of my life. I’m not in this for me, I’m in it for my Grandchildren, and I will take that as a direct threat against a future free and prosperous Republic for my Grandchildren.

Good, We need to stick together then. :) Thank you for supporting Trump! We really are down to a do or die situation in this country. Trump is the only chance we have to delay it and maybe put up some barriers before another Democrat gets in there.
