They know that Trump supporters will kick them out of office if they tried such a thing. They want power more than anything so most of them will stay on the rez.

Also, their seats DO mean a lot to them, I assume. I’m just wondering what they would be promised to vote against Trump and if some of them think they would actually still be able to win.
