No one seems to know. Constitutional scholars seem divided on it. But many seem to agree Congress may be able to simply restart the deadline and the process won’t have to start all over. Also no one knows if a state can rescind their ratification vote.
Ultimately, it may all come down to the Supreme Court.
In any case, the Democrats/feminists are going to push this in order to reignite the debate. And considering the GOP has a problem with female voters historically, don’t expect much a fight this time around. This is a different country than it was in 1980.
In FR postings so far none have mentioned what voter turnout percentages were in those states having elections. Any analysis of the results which doesnt include turnout is worthless when considering the impact on the 2020 potential result.
I don't know how they look themselves in the mirror....
The Constitution says whatever liberal judges decide it says.
If you disagree, you’re a white supremacist racist homophobe. And should be summarily executed.
The real abomination of the petty tyrants of the Left is not that they want to abort everyone out of existence (especially themselves and their spawn who are “special”, doncha know?) ... it’s the black population that abortion enthusiasts want to control through the law. The Left can’t be so obvious in their intentions to restrict the number of black baby births, so they just kill them after they’re conceived up to and just past when the babies are born. A much tidier way for the Left to accomplish their stated objective.
Again??
We already have a WEST Virginia!!
I suppose Virginia needs another motto.
Virginia is for Lovers no longer applies.
Let the memes begin.
While pro-life Virginians rose up to defeat the Tran abortion extremism in committee and to condemn infanticide earlier this year, pro-abortion candidates in the state were helped by a $1.2 million PAC gift from New York billionaire George Soros, including a $350,000 check to Planned Parenthood Virginia.
Virginia was my adopted home state for about 15 years back in the 80s and 90s. Loved the place, lots of hard work and good times.
Heartbreaking to see what it has become — all because of the D.C. suburbs becoming a nest of parasite bureaucrats and equally parasitic foreigners. Real Virginians didn’t trust NOVA even back then. Today, they are in the same invidious position as western New Yorkers struggling against NYC.
Thank God I’m in Florida now, where I did most of my growing up and where I exepect finish my life — although not too soon, I hope (just turned 62).
In the Netherlands parental rights to terminate up to 36 months is being argued. Not a hoax,
