I would not wish that on any man. Having said that, you know.... happy kind people tend to live longer and healthier lives. Everyone I ever knew who died of cancer was grumpy unhappy and cynical. Just saying. And don’t ask me what I think of Chris Mathews because I don’t have anything nice to say.

“happy kind people tend to live longer and healthier lives. Everyone I ever knew who died of cancer was grumpy unhappy and cynical”

You are an effin idiot.

You have just insulted everyone who has lost someone to cancer on this page. My mother, the most kind woman on the plane died of pancreatic cancer at age 73 .Never ever said a cuss word in her life and was the most Christian woman I have ever met.

And actually I think the opposite is true. The most insufferable, nastiest people I have known lived to an old age.

” ...happy kind people tend to live longer and healthier lives. Everyone I ever knew who died of cancer was grumpy unhappy and cynical.”

Now that is a truly provocative observation, FRiend webheart.

I wonder where that leaves me? On numerous threads, I’ve tried to get some of our fellow FReepers to calm down on various issues, noting that there’s a difference between healthy skepticism and the sort of cynicism that can easily morph into defeatism.

At the same time, it’s hard for even rational, good-natured people not to be depressed over the current state of politics.

What will be the consequences for our health?

Life would be pretty good if it wasn’t for our government and out media.

Wow. With that huge lack of kindness you posted, you may want to get frequent screenings...

Are you for real? Ignorance shouts.
Dad was one of the happiest men I’ve ever known with many interests...I’ve also been through the prostate cancer deal and wouldn’t wish it on anyone - along with any other cancer.
Amazing how supposed conservatives lose all sense of sanity because of their own Lib Derangement Syndrome.
