The country is split roughly 50/50 and is moving to the left for too many reasons, immigrants voting, millenials wanting socialism etc
Totally, utterly agree. I don't think they'll be able to take Trump out next year, but sometime in the next 10-20 years they are going to become an operative voting majority.

Baby B1¹oomers and the GI Generation moved to the right as they aged. The World War II veterans and their wives supported Kennedy and Johnson, but later became strong Reagan supporters. The Baby Boomers are currently the backbone of Trump support. The doomsayers of the 1970s would be astonished. As bills and responsibilities accumulate, the millenials may follow suit.
