Voting machines reportedly switching peoples choices have troubled a county in Indiana for the second consecutive election.
Tippecanoe County experienced issues with machines switching peoples selections on Election Day on Tuesday at multiple locations, according to the Lafayette Post & Courier.
Tippecanoe County Clerk Julie Roush was notified by a voter who called in saying their selection on a voting machine at a local polling location would be changed by the machine, which would mark an X for someone other than the candidate the voter wanted. Roush said she checked the calibration on three different voting machines after receiving a call.
Robert Kurtz, a resident of West Lafayette who went to vote Tuesday, recorded a video of a touch screen on a voting machine that would not record the proper selection.
When I touched a square next to a candidate's name, the machine selected the square for the candidate above, Kurtz told the new outlet. If I touched the square for the candidate at the top of the list, nothing happened.
Kurtz notified poll workers of similar issues on Election Day in 2018, according to the Post & Courier. County election officials that year werent able to replicate the issues voters experienced when they recalibrated the machines and tested them.

I’m sure the votes were changed to R. LOL, sometimes I kill me.
Purdue University is in this county.
So, replace the machines?
The only common denominator obvious in the two elections seems to be Kurtz. Maybe he’s too tall or too short and can’t see the choices straightforwardly or maybe he’s just blind as a bat. Maybe he just has bad hand-eye coordination. Is there any indication that others had the same problems?
“So, replace the machines?”
Do you really think it is an accident?

Every election that’s statistically too close to call will go to democrats. Fraud...
Machines don’t change votes.
Machines do what they are programmed to do.
Stop. Using. Computer voting and do a paper ballot that a common machine can count without being rigged. Follow up with human counting just to be sure.

Paper ballots with name signed up top and a purple thump print on the ballot for proof of identification, and to thwart fraud.
“Why do we use voting machines? Paper ballots, period. Harder for the dims to cheat.”
I voted this week. It was a touch screen voting device. I did not like this. However, it did give me a print out that reflected my vote. The print out card was then put into a vote tally machine. The vote tally machine is no better than the electronics and programing behind it. I do not like this.
I do not care if it takes a couple of days to tally the ballots so long as the paper ballots are under lock and key with all political parties in presence to make sure they are secure and counted correctly. All those paper ballots must be in sealed ballot boxes until the polls close. Once the polls close no other ballots can be eligible.
Case in point is New Mexico. W Bush lost New Mexico after winning it. Ballot boxes “were discovered” after the first count. It was most amazing, Gore then won New Mexico. That occurred in Donna Anna county in the city of Las Cruces.
Get a new company and new machines.
**Machines do what they are programmed to do.**
That’s why I said “Get a new company and new machines.”
All it takes is a programmer of the voting machine vendor adding a small line of code that moves one party’s sum of votes one or more decimal points to the right or left, depending on the desired outcome. Tens of millions can become millions or hundreds of thousands, and/or smaller numbers can be made to get extra zeros.
Time to go to the Iraqi Method.
Paper ballot and purple finger.
While paper balloting isn’t foolproof, it take a LOT of paper to swing an election. As opposed to a few keystrokes on a computer.
At the very least a hard copy receipt to the voter verifying the vote.
I think paper ballots, thumb dyes, no mail in ballots, proof of citizenship when registering, no motor voter, no ballot harvesting, correcting voter roles, outlawing ballots found in car trunks, and forbidding sanctuary cities and states from participating in federal elections. Oh, a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 20 years for contributing to or committing voter fraud.
