In Virginia, Democrats are seeking to flip control of the state legislature, where Republicans hold a one-seat advantage in both the state Senate and House of Delegates. Democrats are eyeing seats in the northern Virginia counties outside of Washington, D.C. that have grown more liberal in recent election cycles.

Kentucky is not a republican state. It is a conservative state. Democrats still widely outnumber Republicans. The Republican governor has done everything to piss off as many people as possible. I think it was a fluke but he got elected in the first place. He is from New England, and quite frankly is a bad fit for the state. It would be like running a democrat in New England with a southern accent. The Democrat is a native Kentuckian and the son of a somewhat popular former governor. I don’t think this race says anything about President Trump

The media and pop culture still hold a lot of sway. They have people absolutely hating Trump despite the great results he is getting.
The Left has been preparing the electorate for decades. That we have this much resistance from the Trump supporters is amazing.

Bevin is a complete jerk. Kentucky is still registered at least to the Democrats. As an example, the governor came out in support of placing a toll on an important bridge in northern Kentucky. Northern Kentucky is perhaps the most conservative Republican stronghold in America when it comes to national Elections in suburban areas. Bevin managed to lose 2 out of 3 of the northern Kentucky counties. Make no mistake, his loss has nothing to do with President Trump, but everything to do with him being a New England elitist running in a southern state.

Dems have apparently won the Va Senate and are close to winning the House.
But the government results site is screwed up and little is sure.
