I spent my early years in a neighborhood (South Bronx) where if you didn’t have a racial slur attached to your name (preceded by “dirty”), you were being discriminated against. You just were too unimportant as to merit name-calling.

And you know what? Ten minutes after a racial band-and-forty, we were all playing together. No adults; no activists and no lawyers.
