Did Bobby Kennedy O’Rourke say he was Hispanic or Mexican? I thought there was a difference. Hispanics being basically descended from made Roman citizens despite their respective homelands in Southern Europe, and Mexicans being indigenous peoples (for the most part) of the New World.

Oddly he is cross cultural but just used it for political advantage. I also grew up in West Texas and speak Spanish. I never tried to identify myself as Mexican but my wife is and is from Mexico. I am not Mexican nor is Robert aka Irish Bob. His wife is very white and from extreme wealth.
