It was a list of why they believe they're the good guys. (We pay our taxes. We pay good wages. We employ people. We run a business that feeds people.)
They didn't apologize to the people at the ICE Detention Center and refused to say if they would serve them again.
It was a non-apology.
Maybe I should have, but a lot of apologies nowadays are non-apologies. People don't know how to say they're sorry anymore. Everything is spun or couched in carefully scripted language.
There's always something that others do or don't do or say or don't say, that offends someone.
People who get into the public spotlight in this day and age, can't win for losing. No matter what, someone isn't going to like what they say or do.
