23 years old with a boyfriend.
We had our first at around 30. Twins at 33. Especially after dealing with our twins that required a LOT of attention, I was sure glad we were older - and married. It is difficult raising kids. Even more difficult for the poorly adjusted and self-centered twenty-somethings of today.
It certainly is. I hope anyone on the thread reading my postings does not conclude I am attacking women or motherhood.
My wife and I raised three, and I adore mothers.
But the sin of abortion has tainted our land, and I believe its tentacles have spread to the criminal "justice" system. That's why we see such disparity in cases where mothers kill their own children.

And two children, one 20 months and the other 4 yo.
Perhaps it was the married part that was key?
My parents were 19 when they married, 20 when they had their first child, 22 when the second was born, 23 with the third...then a fourth, fifth and a sixth child. Mom was 32 when my little sister was born.
