“Assault Weapon” is a BS term coined by the liberal media thirty years ago. Yes, I know “liberal media” is a redundant term.
Semi-automatic rifles, intended for the civilian market, is what I call them.

The AR-10 and AR-15 are modern sporting rifles.
The term “Assault” only apples if the weapon has an automatic or select fire capability.
