Remember Christianity was formed six hundred years before Islam and did not have to deal with a religion that allowed deceit and subjugating and killing anyone who did not join the new Islamic religion.

Whether or not it is true that God exists and that God knows everything, I don't see how any of us can be spared of the truth one way or the other. Seems to me if there is no God that knows everything, it would be beyond our power to make it such that there is one. And if there is a God who knows everything, it seems beyond our power to make this not so.
