I can’t BELIEVE how easily the south let the statues fall.

In most cases, the people who agitated for that action were outsiders, not residents of the cities (and sometimes entire states) where the monuments were located. RevCom types, among others. And our schools are churning these people out, for decades now.

A great shame on all the country. A sacrilege and and a willful deletion of history.

Special blame goes to state and fed legislatures which ran and hid to avoid their precious sinecures.

The National Guard should have been called out!

Obama of course was all too eager to see it happen.
