The problem is that like anyone else, muzzies vote. They also have a serious PAC called CAIR. Politicians like their offices more than they love the US, and is why they will never cross CAIR.
It is also why the 17th Amendment must go. State-appointed senators wouldn’t care less what CAIR and their media toadies think and threaten.
Even if the 17th amendment goes, CA, NY, and the usual others will STILL find two Communist lunatics to fill those Senate seats, so I really don’t see how that’s going to help.
