Rep. Matt Gaetz slammed closed-door impeachment hearings with “no rules” that are being run by House Democrats acting like an “angry pack of rabid hyenas.”
The Florida Republican unloaded his frustration to Fox News host Tucker Carlson Wednesday, defending dozens of his GOP colleagues who stormed a secret hearing by House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Oversight Committees in protest of the way Chairman Adam Schiff has been conducting the proceedings.
“What was the purpose?” Carlson asked the lawmaker on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” referring to his leading members of the Freedom Caucus and other Republicans in storming the classified Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility where Democrats were interviewing Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Lisa Cooper on Wednesday.
“We had the audacity to want to know what in the world was going on behind closed doors where Democrats have engaged in a strategy of secret interviews, selective leaks, theatrical, weird performances of transcripts that never happened and then lies about whistleblowers,” Gaetz replied. “So it’s reasonable to suggest that we would want more transparency on behalf of the millions of people we represent.”
“Do you have a right under Congressional rules to demand it?” Carlson asked.
“There are no rules,” Gaetz responded.

He’s right, there are absolutely no rules in this charade and coup. So do whatever to stop it.

Republicans should hold mock hearings in public. Invite those from the admin who are “testifying” in the show trials. If they don’t show up to speak in public it just proves everything POTUS says about the Deep State coup is true.
!00% agreement with that, they should be public and should include the people who testified at this witch hunt Dimmo Secret ‘Impeachment’ hearing. Our hearing should also make inquiries into the moral behavior of the Dimmo leaders, particularly Schit and Peloser. I think a Senate Committee should host it. This would at least give balance to what the Left is doing.

Also, can't wait for it all to backfire and give Pres. Trump more electoral votes in 2020. Just think of the hysterics the Dim/Socialists will have that night. I'll laugh for days, as I did with the true melt downs when Clinton lost.
Because it suited their convenience, they perverted Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King's concepts of passive resistance and nonviolent protest, as a means of opposing unjust laws, to mean that any law they don't like--or find inconvenient--is unjust and should merely be disregarded or violently opposed.
The result is lawlessness and contempt for law.
The Democrats have demonstrated this repeatedly, e.g. in their support of illegal immigration (the real reason for which, of course, is to pack the voter rolls with pro-Democrat voters), voter fraud (they would never get elected without it), and the entire 3-year maneuver to nullify the 2016 Presidential Election.
The Party of Hate, Violence, and Evil--viz. the Democrat Party--cynically perverts everything to serve its objectives, the main one of which is the self-serving accumulation of power.
It has perverted the concepts of passive resistance and nonviolent protest into twisted concepts of lawlessness and criminal activity.
I agree that the Senate needs to hold PUBLIC hearings of the same witnesses who provided “secret” testimony before Comrade Schiff!
Americans had the right to SEE that Special-Counsel Mueller was only vaguely familiar with “his” alleged “report”.
And we had the right to SEE that Mueller had made NO investigation of the real plotters behind the Russia Hoax or of the many, many links between Hillary’s campaign and Russia.
Therefore, Americans also have the right to see PUBLIC hearings that can expose the dishonesty in whatever fake “leaks” are made by dishonest Comrade Schiff or by his goose-stepping DUmmies....
IMHO, such PUBLIC hearings would earn high ratings...
They aren’t going to stop until they are stopped.
That is all there is to it.
I’ve said many times, until they begin being perp walked, all they will do is keep doubling down against America.
