Mo Brooks to Democrats on Impeachment: ‘Do It in Public’
Breitbart ^ | 10/23/2019 | Kyle Morris

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) targeted Democrats and their impeachment efforts on Wednesday as he delivered a short speech before he, and several other members of Congress, stormed the secret room where House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) has been operating the closed-door impeachment inquiry. “By golly, if they’re going to do it, do it in public,” Brooks said. “Don’t hide it from the American people. Show your face where we can all see the travesty that you are trying to foist on America & the degradation of our Republic that you are engaged in.”

Brooks added, “We demand open proceedings. The American people deserve nothing less. Their representatives in Congress deserve nothing less.”

I don’t think they realize it...but they are making five or six Trump-2020 promotion advertisements with these antics. ‘What do they do in the basement of the capital building’, ‘the secret coup’, and ‘Democracy threatened by thugs’.

People will watch these type of commercials and 60-second clips, and go anti-Democrat.

Republicans are worthless. They have completely surrendered. They need to go.

Yes, I know there are about a dozen Republicans who have been doing a lot of heavy lifting, but there are currently a total of 250 Republicans in the House and Senate. WHERE ARE THEY?

Why are Democrats dominating this whole impeachment fiasco, as they did the Russia hoax? Why is it - exactly - that we only hear occasional tiny peeps of protest on FOXNews?

Why have Republicans surrendered? Why are they not fighting tooth and nail? Why should I vote at all down ballot past Trump? I have absolutely no reason to vote for these clowns.

And don’t get me started on all the investigating Republicans sternly promised which always and consistently led to absolutely nothing. And what of Lindsey Graham and his committee? All talk to appease the base for the sole purpose of squeaking by the next election.

Pffft....

Great Trump ad. “If Democrats are doing this to Me, just think about what they will do to You.”

If our domestic enemies aren’t perp walked soom, they gleefully WILL do it to us in 2025.

Payback, and all, as they’d been allegedly stymied for 8 years.

You do it in private until you find some “there” there. Then you open it up. That way, people don’t get numb to the constant “nothing there”.
And you can leak damaging info that can’ be substantiated.

I keep hearing people use the term “unfair” in describing what Schiff is doing.

Being unfair is the least of infractions, since politics is inherently unfair.

What is much more important, and descriptive, is that is is utterly corrupt and unconstitutional.

Somewhere, way down in the lowest rungs of hell, Stalin is envious.

Democrats know they have lost white males and about 1/2 white females. They have been exposed successfully as fringe, extreme, boutique, a party of fractured groups of degenerates, urban minorities, illegals, academics, hipsters and people who work for the government largesse. They are flailing around trying anything, to summon troops like Hitler in the bunker 1945 that are just not there. Instead of falling back and trying to protect their fragile and thin majority in the House, they are distracted and doubling down on a taking down a mostly popular president who has been watch over economic positivism not seen since Reagan's early second term.

Their strategy, firewall the next generation in colleges for intellectual purity and making sure 10's of thousands of illegals get to vote. That's their strategy. But it's a fools errand as like a hyper-speed wack-mole game, Trump's populism is eroding their flank with minorities and other reliably Democratic groups. Their stranglehold is concentrating to about 30 miles form the city center of america's top 5 cities.

"Great Trump ad. “If Democrats are doing this to Me, just think about what they will do to You.”"

Not even necessarily a Trump ad. It's been true for much of my adult life (and not just the Democrats).
UMHO, the only reason we haven't seen more Waco type events in the US is because people mentioned before are aware that there is a rifle behind every blade of grass. It's also why the big push for "universal background checks"(read gun registry). They don't want the "little people" to have the means to fight back.

What is coming out about Ukraine is what they would love to do in the US with impunity (and sort of have been doing until Trump came along).

Schiff’s theatre is worthy of Mel Brooks.

This is just a tiny bit of what David Schippers had to say in his book (Sell Out) about the Clinton impeachment - sound/look familiar?

“If you ever plan to vote again, you might not want to know what went on behind the scenes on Capital Hill leading up to and during the impeachment proceedings against President William Jefferson Clinton.””

“”What I saw, as Chief Investigative Counsel for the House Judiciary Committee and therefore the man in charge of compiling the case against the President, was not a pretty sight. Lies, cowardice, hypocrisy, cynicism, butt-covering, amorality - these all combined to make a mockery of the impeachment process.””

“”The Republican leadership in the Senate and House sold out the House Managers and our investigation. Democrats in both Houses sold out basic principles of law and decency for the sake of protecting one of their own.””
