You're only off base in terms of how long it would take. I would like to think the US wouldn't become a hell-hole in 10 years, due to personal and family wealth spread out over a vast middle class. Of course it depends on how aggressive the neo-Marxists would be in abjectly confiscating it. But you never know, it may be that the bigger we are, the harder we would fall. I hope I'm not around to see it happen, and I'm in my 50s.
I’m in my mid 60’s, my wife is 70. We’re still working our tails off. We both have health issues. her parents are gone, so are mine. I have six other siblings, all but two are die hard socialists. I have a step son and a daughter-in-law, two grandsons and a bunch of nieces and nephews, the majority of whom think Bernie Sanders is just the greatest guy on Earth.
What I’m getting at is I hope for those of my family who are conservatives they have some future left. For the socialists , even though they’re family, I don’t don’t give a damn for them. The wife and I really don’t want to be around much longer. We both now that after Trump it’s over. It’ll be Hell on Earth.
Probably correct that it wouldn’t happen over night. The world has no idea how much the global economic order relies on USA stability politically. If the USA fell to a coup, the world economic order would slowly unwind leaving us all screwed.
