In other words, the IG report can be as devastating as we all are hoping for but even if people are prosecuted and put in jail, it will move very few people into the Trump camp (who aren't already there).
I don't post this to be negative at all. I think Trump is headed for a solid re-election in 2020. Unlike others, I don't have my hopes set on the ring-leaders of the coup being frog-marched off to jail (though it WOULD be nice to see). But I'm content to have 5 1/2 more years of Trump and based on what he has accomplished so far, I look very much forward to the coming years.

I agree with you. But, if they are not, then our Republic will continue its march toward extinction. When you have government employees blatently violate the law and also attempt a coup and nothing happens to them, they you have no rule of law but only rule of man. And rule of man means no Constitution and thus no country since the Constitution is the backbone and basis of our country.
