I keep saying China is not Communist anymore. It is textbook Fascist. They only pretend to be Communist but in reality their economy, their government, their society... everything... textbook Fascist.

You arent the only one...and we are right.
Completely agree. All while American companies are expecting “growth” in China. They’re selling their souls for blood money. Tech companies like Facebook are developing AI to assist them. The NBA shuts down free speech for them. Almost all day-to-day payments, including being paid, are done via a phone app called “wechat” - which the government controls. Now they’re going to use the “social credit score” to determine your ability to access the internet, using face recognition as the key.
It is total control over the population, while being brutal if you resist. It’s already at insane levels and just getting worse.
The left in this country would have no problem imposing the same on everyone here.

You’re saying the Soviets never did such things??? Where were you? You’re saying North Vietnam never did such things when it invaded and took over South Vietnam?? I guess you never listened to the Vietnamese boat people, that numbered nearly a million. You’re saying that North Korea does not do such things?? All those cases were/are Communist countries. Where in the hell are you???
Actually all Communist China has done is put a different market face on its Communist government and system, and it is only a face. It is not a capitalist free market economy. It is a form of nationalist, mercantilist state-capitalist economy run by the Communist dictatorship that still, in that system, controls most of the largest businesses and industries, either directly or via who it is that owns most of the interest in a company, which is often the party, some party officials or some governmental unit. Then, through the party, the financial arms of the party - the Chinese banks - do as the party directs in terms of who is and is not going to get loans, and even who a company will or will not be able to partner with. No. The Communists in China simply have gotten more sophisticated than the old soviet system as to how the government & the party stay in control of everything, economically, financially, politically, and even “socially”. Control is what Communism calls for, and giving the appearance of independent private owners is fine, when the realty is that you are still the ones in control. By controlling the largest, the most and the most important, the hundreds of little outfits are caught in and dependent on those sectors the party and government control in one way or another. Their financial fate is caught up in the mass that the government and party have the levers over. It is not a “free market”, no matter how it looks to outsiders and even the sheeple of China.
Probably so, if you go by the saying that under Communism the state owns the means of production, but under Fascism the state merely controls the means of production. All else is the same.
Fascism works.
What is the difference between Communism, Fascism, and today’s American Democracy headed by the likes of Nefarious Nan? Some day a Freeper will escape the American gulag and tell his story of woe and despair and it will not be believed.
