I have an idea. We should absolutely financially and criminally slaughter banks that have the slightest interaction with the cartels.
The problem is out intelligence community uses drug cartels for black purposes and always has. And our politicians are utterly enriched by the cartel money. Of course, north of the border they do not give money directly to the politicians, that would be indecent. It is properly laundered through HSBC (started as a dope bank) Wells Fargo, Deutsche bank, Goldman Sachs, etc. The bankers accept it and from the profits, they donate to politicians.
