Seems kinda presumptuous that he would tell people exactly which make/model of firearm to buy, what with a free market and all that. The average novice reading this will actually have different needs than him.

For example, if I go out in my back yard and shoot some critter like an armadillo or a possum, which we do have here in this urban neighborhood I live in, that's an instant trip to jail. And here Mike Adams is telling me that I need a .410 for exactly that purpose.

Every gun owner has an opinion (or twelve ;^). What constitutes a "fighting weapon" (or 'hunting weapon') may depend more on the man than the firearm. Years ago, I read that the .22 Hornet is extremely popular with Inuit hunters. The Hornet is not a cartridge that most Americans would list in the 'top 10' for hunting, but apparently it works just fine for some folks, who know what they're doing...
