President Trump said Monday that he doesnt want to have copies of The New York Times in the White House anymore and suggested he would terminate the subscription.
We dont even want it in the White House anymore, Trump told Fox Newss Sean Hannity in an interview that aired Monday night. Were going to probably terminate that and the Washington Post.
Trump also claimed that the Times apologized to its readers for its poor coverage of him, echoing his previous assertions about a letter the newspaper sent to its subscribers following the 2016 presidential election.
The Times has forcefully pushed back on Trumps accusations as false. The Times's publisher wrote in the letter to readers that news outlets underestimated Trumps support among U.S. voters and described his victory as unexpected. The letter thanked subscribers and did not include an apology.

I believe those papers get a large portion of their cash intake from fake digital subscriptions - payoffs for propaganda.
NYT is more sophisticated than most of the swamp media. They are particularily adept at protecting the status quo by doing puff pieces for swamp government institutions, bureaucracies, police state agencies.
A lot of people here still believe that they are honest brokers of the news. They are not. They are masters of half truths and subtle spin.
A lot of people here still believe that they are honest brokers of the news.
I dont think anyone here believes that.
They are also masters of omission.
I don’t.
They publish a hard hitting anti left piece every now and again to fake everyone out.
And it IS a fake.
When speaking of what’s new in entertainment, books, movie reviews, special interest personalities, the NYT remains a good source of reference. Keep in mind, they are only attracted to certain types of media and certain types of personalities.
When speaking of politics, sociology or the actual influence of religion as they now exists, the NYT can no longer consistently be relied upon for objectivity.
For financial reporting, you are better off buying the Wall St. Journal.
“We are going to PROBABLY terminate...”
That means the White House will not terminate at this time, but he wants to get their attention.
Like most presidents, Mr. Trump reads most of the main ‘papers’ or their websites daily. Keep track of what your enemy is pondering, might be one of his customs. Mr. Trump seems very much up to date on the general zeitgeist of the moment. Far more so than the usual president since Poppy Bush.
Either he’s reading the sites or has others read it and report back.
He has a clipping service to extract the stuff he needs
we don’t read NYT or WashPost, either.
far far far too much commie/leftist propaganda
For several decades Investor's Business Daily has been a superior choice in the financial news arena.
The leftist media, like the nyt and the wash. post, is the enemy, folks and has been the enemy of free people for decades.

The NYT is the mouthpiece of the Deep State.
There are hard copies of these newspapers reaching the White House? They probably have listening devices embedded in them.
I wish FR would have an option for me to block NYT, WaPo, CNB, etc. .. sure would be a quicker read in the mirning! I think we OVER publish the fake news at FR. Im told I should read these to keep up with the opposition. Thats ridiculous. If keeping up means assimilating nonfactual information how does that add to the factual scenario?
What took him so long?
NYT and Wapo = Der Sturmer of the left.

Freepers lauding an enthralling portrayal of DEA by NYT. No major story gets into that paper without in some way promoting a globalist and totalitarian agenda. Here, some Freepers were, I believe, snookered into making positive comments about a “good story”. I believe NYT put this out as cover for the fed police state agencies that have taken a big hit in public support recently.
