He gets a not guilty across the board if I am seated on the jury. The perv obviously had a long record of causing trouble and he peeped in the wrong window.
I had a friend who is no deceased who had trouble with a peeping tom at his house 25 yrs. ago. He had a very attractive wife and teenage daughter and their bedrooms were on the second floor of their house, it set high off the ground where their bedroom windows were located. A local perv who was 17-18 had the rep of looking in houses in the area. He came from a good family. And several neighbors had caught him and verbally threatened him to no avail.
One evening this little douche bag got his nerve up and actually brought a ladder and quietly leaned it against the back of my friends house to climb and look in the bedroom of the daughter. A neighbor lady who could see the back of the house called my friend and told him what was going on. My friend told his wife to call the cops and then retrieved his .12 gauge shotgun and eased out the front door and walked around to the back of the house quietly and was standing at the base of the ladder and he racked a round into the chamber of the .12 gauge and the guy literally fell off the ladder. My friend greets said perv as he stands up in pain from the fall with the shotgun aimed at his head and tells him, you step in this yard again and you won’t walk out of it, you will be carried. All the while the perv is begging for his life. He tells the perv get off his property, the police will be paying you a visit in a few minutes.
The cops show up and start fussing at my friend for using his shotgun and citing ordinance against discharging a gun in the city limits and he said, I didn’t discharge a gun. He finally told the cops, you go tell the pervert and his daddy if his pervert son sets foot on my property again it will not end well for him regardless of your laws. The cop pissed and moaned but went down and talked to the perv and the family. The message got through, he never set foot in that yard again as the neighbors quickly set up a watch network.
Now THAT’S the man’s way of dealing with the problem.
