With three polls showing her in the lead, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) may soon eclipse former Vice President Joe Biden as the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination. Thats great news for Republicans, because Warren has a problem: The central message of her campaign is that the economy is working for the very wealthy but it is not working for ordinary Americans. Unfortunately for her, ordinary Americans disagree.
A Marist poll asked voters whether the economy is working well for you personally. Nearly two-thirds of Americans said yes. This includes large majorities in almost every demographic group.
Sixty-seven percent of college graduates and 64 percent of those without a college education say the economy is working for them. So do 68 percent of whites, and 61 percent of nonwhite people.
So do Americans of every generation: 63 percent of Generation Z and millennials; 69 percent of Generation X; 63 percent of baby boomers; and 69 percent of Greatest Generation and Silent Generation voters.
So do most voters in every type of American community: 63 percent of both big- and small-city voters; 64 percent of small-town voters; 66 percent of rural voters; and 72 percent of suburban voters. Most everyone, it seems, says the economy is working for them.
The only groups who disagree are progressives (59 percent), Democratic women (55 percent) and those who are liberal or very liberal (55 percent). So, when Warren declares that President Trump is part of a corrupt, rigged system that has helped the wealthy and the well-connected and kicked dirt in the faces of everyone else, it resonates with almost no one except those on the political left.

One of many problems. You know, like being an habitual liar. Minor things like that. But, in the world of delusiocrats that appears to be a “put” and not a “take”. Street creds and all.
No, that’s her number two problem.
Her number one problem was that she fraudulently stole benefits meant for indigenous American tribes for decades, and advocates of other candidates and policies other than hers are lambasting her supporters about that and the issue refuses to die or to be forgotten.
Mockery, thy name is Psychojawea, or Fauxcahontas, or Lieawatha or Sagging Squaw, or Gray Beaver...
this is all pretty simple....if the economy stays healthy Trump wins...if not he loses
I expect it to backfire on them but it's their standard response to the serfs not falling into formation between whoever the Deep State anoints.
Leading Presidential Candidate Liz Warrens No. 1 problem:
Liz Warren......................
The Fake Indian will find Braves and Squaws living in rundown Tee Pees and use that to show the Economy is failing those who are not Millionaires.
Nope......the economy will still do very well and help President Trump waltz right back in to the White House in 2020.
hahahahaha...
It’s the number 1 problem for the entire Democrat field.....
The Democrats are getting set to relearn the lessons of 1972...
They are going to likely put up a left wing nutter, and get trounced...
The difference is, not only are they replaying the 1972 election dynamic, they are doing it when the incumbent has a 1984 economy at his back....
Short of an economic meltdown, or another black swan event of that magnitude, the Dems have zero shot at the White House in 2020, and the honest ones know it.
Here’s the reality folks, in 120 years only 4 first term presidents have not won re-election that ran for it... of those 4, 3 were taken out completely by the economy..
Here’s the other little fact... Every other time a president has run for re-election for a second term, with the very noticeable exception of one Barry Soetoro, they have won re-election by more votes and more states than their initial election.
Perhaps if they keep saying the only way to take out Trump is to sabotage the economy enough times, they they can get the powers that be to sabotage the economy
If she can find them at all and not working at a local casino.
A BRIGHT SPOT
The U.S. economy continues to be a bright spot in the overall global outlook, despite a significant slowdown abroad, according to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
The United States continues to benefit from tax reform and other pro-growth policies, he said at the annual meeting with finance ministers and central bankers.
In July, economic growth in the United States entered its 121st month, marking the longest expansion in U.S. history. And the jobless rate fell in September to a new 50-year low of 3.5 percent, while employers added a modest 136,000 jobs.

Plus folks want stable leadership at this time.
Surely, oh, surely, there is SOMETHING that can be done to destroy the economy before election day. Come on, people! Think hard!
The winning post!
So the Hard Left claims that the economy is only working for the wealthy. Define wealthy. Mind you one of the trademarks of the Hard Left is corruption of the language. Governor Murphy of New Jersey defines a millionaire as anyone making over $40,000 a year. The Communist Party continues to double down on class warfare and class envy, and finally revealing their hostility toward economic mobility, that they are alienating more people, including those in groups typically voting the Democratic (now Communist) ticket. This is why you now have the Blexit. I have had black coworkers who have voiced complaints about the Democratic Party that were right out of Thomas Sowells book Visions of the Anointed.
So, Democrats, I really mean Communists, carry on. Onward, into the fog. Double down on stupid. Run, lemmings, to the sea.
Yes, and most of the Dems running are nutjobs to begin with. 1972 or even 1984 all over again.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Heres the reality folks, in 120 years only 4 first term presidents have not won re-election that ran for it... of those 4, 3 were taken out completely by the economy..
gotta be more than that. just in my lifetime Jimmy Carter, George HW Bush, Did one term, but both of them sucked donkey balls. Gerald Ford served most of Nixons Second term. Technically Kennedy only served part of one term.
What’s scary is the apocalyptic scenario of the economy as worse as it was before Obama was elected. That is how we get these POS DNC presidents.
