Most police chiefs in big cities have become political creatures just like far to many admirals and generals.
There are so many sheriffs around USA that the D’s maybe can find a handful who would actually try confiscating American citizens’ firearms/property. But, that problem would very quickly be brought to an end.
The Left has this weird conviction that once having seized the levers of power everybody will automatically bow down and obey the commands from Central Control. Beta has it bad. He’s said as much, how he expects the American people to obey such laws once passed. What happens when nobody does, including his hoped-for enforcement mechanism?
Beto O’Rourke is just blowing wind. He knows as well as anyone else that the 2nd Amendment would stop this effort cold before it got started. He is trying to gain voters with this talk. It’s failing badly!

I think it’s time Franky got a dose of his own medicine. Send a SWAT team to his house to arrest him for sedition and inciting then haul his ass off to GITMO for the next, oh, 10-20 years so he can meditate on his criminal actions.
If they know you have a gun and have refused to turn it in, they will freeze your accounts, suspend your driver’s license, and start the process of removing your kids from your home. They will shut off your internet and cell phone as well. And they can do this without ever ringing your doorbell
