The cease-fire established between Turkey and Syria with the help of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Vice President Mike Pence was an "amazing accomplishment," but the situation is not yet fully rectified, Karl Rove said Thursday on "The Daily Briefing."
"It's a pretty amazing accomplishment by Pompeo and Pence to get the cease-fire," he said.

If done correctly i’m holding out there won’t be another Dem president in my lifetime, it’s amazing what a little honesty and integrity can accomplish. And we are on the right track!

Trump, who knows how to make deals, has decided to use the American economy as a way to fight against our opponents, instead of requiring our military to do all of the fighting. Sun Tzu would be proud of Trump.
I’m not going to get caught up in the usual FR over-enthusiasm due to a one time action that is admired. I recall people wanting Condoleeza Rice for President, all manner of people who sound ridiculous in hindsight now.
I’ve not made any big secret of not really trusting Pence. I’ve got to admit he appears to have been pretty much an exemplary VP and so I don’t really have a leg to stand on, but I still don’t really trust him. Something about that expressionless face, I guess.
Pompeo? Don’t know enough about him to have an opinion.
I’ll cross that bridge when we get to it, as far as 2024.
