How it was reached? Why it was reached? I thought we all know how it was reached. Trump sent a letter to Erdogan, followed the letter up with halting trade negotiations when there was no favorable response, re imposed tariffs, Erdogan caved and the rest is history.

This allows Trumps people to send out fundraising solicitations , and people respond with generous checks, because they’re worked up and angry over “black hat” Romney’s taunts?
Or is Romney just being a pompous ass?

There are too many republicans who simply cannot resist stabbing their own in the back. It seems a pathological desire. Conversely, those same republicans do not attack the democrats with anything close to the vitriol they seem to save for attacking their own side.
This is why even when they control all 3 branches very little gets accomplished.
Any of them would have been much worse.
