Depends on how the question is asked. I was stationed in Thailand, a Buddhist country. I was a visiting professor in Turkey, a Moslem country. I made a point of learning about the history, culture and religion of my host countries. I would have no hesitation about stating what THEY believe. That wouldn't mean I believe it.

What is it about our public education, including after grad studies that causes a loss of common sense?

Learning and reciting an oath of allegiance, devotion, or whatever, and whether spoken or written, serves only the inherit purpose thereof.

This is not the only incident where American school children have been forced into publicly reciting the Islamic Shahada conversion creed, both orally and in writing it out.

TENNESSEE: Public Middle School is forcing non-Muslim students to praise Islam and “Allah as the only god”

http://shoebat.com/2015/09/13/tennessee-public-middle-school-is-forcing-non-muslim-students-to-praise-islam-and-allah-as-the-only-god/

There are many more incidences of this taking place all across the nation. What Islam cannot achieve through reason, it does so through trickery or even by the sword.

Remember this:

"It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble."

It applies to all involved in this outrageous deception.

no, unless she is prepared to proclaim that two-thirds of the world population are sinners.
= = =

She does not have to.

Needs only to deal with her own sin.

The two-thirds’ fates are in their own hands; and their judgement will be God’s.

I remember when teaching world history, one of the suggested questions for the chapter test on Christianity was, “Jesus was the son of God.” I used some of the question just tweaked it to read “Jesus is the Son of God.

The Muslims answer that by alleging (without any evidence, because it is patently false) that the bible has been corrupted and that it is no longer the word of God.

They have no respect whatsoever for the scriptures beyond the first four books. And actually, they don’t respect those in truth either, only in word.

A Muslim recently asserted to me that the Islamic wars of expansion were strictly “defensive” actions, and that Muhammad never personally killed anyone.

What have you found to be the best factual way to respond, other than simply asserting that is a lie?

Wait a guldurn minute, heah...what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Why can't individual teachers do the same thing with Christianity? Now there is a high-court decision that allows religion in school--is this what the Supremes were thinking?

Good luck with that!

How much do Christians tithe each year? How much of that annual tithing goes to fight state restrictions on religion?

There are some fine scholars on YouTube that can help you there, I have no finely developed arguments. One guy had a good method, just read to them from the Koran and Hadith.
