OK. I submit that Climate researchers should not travel anywhere for meetings/conferences or collaborations. All of this could be done by phone or via Skype. No more international flights to Berlin, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, London, Bejing, Nairobi, Copenhagen, Heidelberg, Montreal, Santiago, Rabat (Morocco), Stockholm, Geneva, Bonn, Paris, etc.

These are all places holding climate conferences in 2019, and this is not a complete list. This is the academic lifestyle, and these holier than thou butt-heads should put their lifestyle where their rhetoric is.
