You know I see reports like this every so often. They tell only part of the story.
Several years ago, Blacks started moving into my town. Pretty soon you’d see a large body of them standing outside places in town at night. Hey, that’s okay, but being an older White guy the rabbit punching incidents across the nation to come to mind when you’re walking through a group like that.
Last year I downloaded an app that allows me to see the reports of home-owners in my area, and the crimes that are reported. There are also videos provided.
So with a very small populace of Blacks living in town, it’s very unnerving to see the videos of middle of the night, and even broad daylight interlopers on property, who are already making up a large percentage of all these videos.
There’s good representation of Whites too. Not trying to be unfair about it.
Folks have a right to their perceptions. It’s a shame, but those perceptions are sometimes very valid.

Note that the article doesn’t mention how many slaves he used to own. Or, if he didn’t own any, then how did he ‘oppress’ the black/Hispanic man in the past? In other words, exactly what did he do to be filled with guilt?
The article completely ignores that very important fact.
I believe in atonement when you’ve done something wrong. Since I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong with respect to me being white, I don’t see any reason for me to atone for anything. Those who feel guilty because they are white have other issues to contend with, and removing their tinfoil hats might be a good first step to fulfill their atonement.
He should just kill himself to really atone for his guilt.

I don’t know how joining black and brown shake-down groups would do anything for him, except maybe assuage his idiotic leftist guilt feeling. But if he wants to throw himself under the wheels of the diversity bus, have at it, Olsen.
They’re getting worried that people are tiring of their BS.

If you’re a decent neighbor, respect law and order, treat me respectfully, I’m not going to have a problem with you no matter what race or color you are.
That goes for the overwhelming majority of white people.
I live on the mostly Black south side of Atlanta. I have walked all over the allegedly crime ridden south side. I have neve had an angry look.
The only gunfire we hear is News Years Eve. The only death was a drunk falling over the railing in the old Braves baseball park.
I hear the same stories of the allegedly crime ridden west side of Atlanta. I have not walked it like I have the South side. Who knows?
When I was in Chicago, my first year back from Vietnam, there were 7 separate murders on my 1 block. My corner was the intersection of gang turfs.
All 7 murders were committed by the mostly white gang that had a couple Puerto Ricans in it also. The Italian gang, the 2 Hispanic gangs at my corner didn’t do anything worse than name call.
It is strange how personal experience and personal perceptions influence us. It is strange how some will believe TV cop shows and 3rd hand street gang rumors the same way they believe the MSM news and 3rd hand political rumors.
In the pastsseveral years I have talked to many people about white guilt and I can definitively say that none of them feels white guilt.
