Keep me on your Brexit Update list. I try and follow this nearly everyday; it's very complicated for Americans to understand the Irish border issues, and implications on trade, immigration, tariffs, etc.

But I find the whole discussion, Parliament's role, the Brexit vote, etc, very interesting.

PS - If Scotland were independent, this probably wouldn't even be an issue; seems like they all wanted to stay - cut 'em lose.

No it would. We have to be careful with Northern Ireland due to particular political sensitivities. Scotland on the other hand, would need to have a hard border raised against it because ‘refugees’ would be using it as a backdoor into England. Probably a sizable number of Scots fleeing over Hadrian’s wall as well to avoid Scotland’s crumbling economy under a woke leftist SNP government.
